First game of season; played on rain-soaked pitch.  Excellent for first
game.
9 total shots.

Team Name:       U18 Red
Game Date:       04/14/02
Game Opponent:   Terre Haute Flyers
Game Number:     837
Kokomo Score:    1
Opponent score:  5
Stats: With no subs, a team can be easily worn out.  The score was 0-1 at
halftime.  We scored soon, followed shortly by opponent.  We tired more and
more and opponent scored 3 goals in the last 25 minutes.  Flyers are a
quick team.
We played hard the first half, but no subs will tire a team easily.

Stats

Saves - Brad Roberts - 6 Assists - Andrew Bryant - 1, Aaron Glatt - 1 Goals - Justin Bryant - 1, Joe Varnau - 1, Matthew Coleman -1 This was the best game we have played this season. It was against our Kokomo rival - the team we practice with each week! We knew it would be a close game, hard fought, and fun. Brad Roberts made at least 3 outstanding saves. Our defense usually does not ask for a breather, but today was an exception. Kokomo Blue made us run many times to turn the ball upfield. Our defense held strong. Our offense made many good passes. Everyone of our players contributed to the win today!
